Rescue is recognized as a "Pure Public Charity" by the Commonwealth
of Pennsylvania, Department of Revenue, and is a PA. Tax Exempt
Rescue. On August 31, 2001, the rescue was granted tax exempt status
as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
